Allen's Success Story
Allen Nichols found fast success. Allen started physical therapy with a knee injury that prevented workouts. He was experiencing chest pains and checked himself into a local hospital. After several tests, Allen's cardiologist recommended exercise and a nutrition overhaul to lower his cholesterol and blood pressure.
After completing knee therapy, we discovered that butt to ball squats were no easy feat for Allen. We physically stretched his quads after every workout to loosen them up so that the pain in his knee was lessened and that butt to ball squats became a common occurrence. With legs cramping after every WOD, He continued to push through.
Allen is in his 4th month of CrossFit with us. He has lost weight, his clothes fit better and he's doing exercises that he couldn't accomplish three months ago. "With the exercises and the diet that David recommended, I have more energy; I sleep better and feel great. The exercises are simple and effective. The encouragement that we receive (his wife and daughter attend also) keeps us motivated and on track. I owe all of the people at Tillman my gratitude and appreciation, most of all thank you for your patience and the service you provide."
Allen's current goals include a hike on Mount Adams in the Spring of 2010 and knows that after 14 months of CrossFit, he's going to blow his friends away on that hike.

CrossFit is Broad, General and Inclusive
"The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. "
