It doesn't have to be fun to be fun
Crossfit Classes are forming for March! Come in and join the fun. Amaze yourself at what you can do.
Don't wait. Spring break and summer are just around the corner. Class size is limited, so reserve your spot now!
Stop procrastinating and change your life now!
Pushing the limits
I saw this video on the Foundation Fitness website. They are the Rain City Crossfit affiliate in Seattle. This is an amazing Infomercial!
Honestly, I thought this was a SNL skit. "If you can sit, You can get fit" Yeah right.
It is a good thing Gary didn't listen to this. Gary has been coming to our 6pm class for about 6 weeks and has dropped 18lbs. A task that has been physically taxing, uncomfortable, and in fact painful. The reward, however is priceless. Ask Gary and I am sure he will tell you that "Fran" is much more fun and exciting than a workout in "The Hawaii Chair"
You have to push the limits to achieve new PR's. To climb those mountains, you have to continuously smash the walls that hold you back.
Keep it up!

Set The Example

Mom always said to "Set the example." She was right. We need to teach our kids how to become leaders. How to push themselves to excel. We can't simply say "do your best." We have to show them that we do our best. They need to know how to take care of themselves, eat right, push the limits of their bodies, and compete. The need to learn about building character. As parents, time = influence. So take some time, use your influence to educate your children on the importance of fitness and sport. Give them that positive outlet and goals to focus on. Then show them how to apply those lessons to everyday life and relationships. Crossfit is one of the best methods for this because it is scalable to any level and emphasizes functional movements that will stay with you for life. Don't just take these special blessings for granted. Enjoy the time with your kiddos and keep them pure.
Time = Influence
